The center takes polymer science, drug design, and immune regulation as the core, with "multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary" as the research feature, and conducts cutting-edge innovative research.
It combines the disciplines of polymer chemistry, medicinal chemistry, supramolecular chemistry, immunology, biomedicine, and toxicology. The main research directions include polymer medicine, prodrugs, immunomodulatory drugs, vaccines, nanobiology, polymer design and synthesis, and intelligent delivery systems. The center focuses on cutting-edge biomedicine technologies and conducts research and development of diagnostic technologies and innovative drugs for tumors and other major diseases. At present, the center has formed a team of 25 people.
